Adj. an already tweeked pump?

Hello everyone. I bought a '93 w250 about 8 weeks ago and been reading this board, and the TDR almost non-stop learning tons of info. Thanks to all.
My truck already had an aftermarket tach, pyro, boost, K&N,dynomax muffler, tailpipe(turbo-muffler looks stock), front lift springs+285/75-16, and the pump has been adj.????
The truck makes 23-24psi and EGT max 900 post-turbo.
It runs great and only smokes heavy if I stomp on it.
Since I got the truck I've hole sawed the air box and killed the KDP. I've got a gov. spring and 16cm housing on the way
After the spring and housing install I want to readjust the pump, But everything I've read says turn screw so many turns, or cliks, or 1/8 inch from stock ??? Mine isn't stock. Where do I start? How do I know where I'm at??

Welcome to DTR, and thanks for doing your research before posting. I think the best thing for you to do is make sure you have a good understanding of what each adjustment does, and then adjust the pump according to what you want. There's a lot of good info on both sites about the pump adjustments and how exactly they work rather than blanket statements like "turn the screw 1.5 turns clockwise". My truck had been twiddled with as well, so I needed to do a good bit of reading to find out what I wanted to do. If you have any specific questions, post 'em, and somebody (hopefully a pump guru like Bob Beauchaine, Bushy, or Monty) or just an amateur like me will try to give you a good answer.
