9-88 cummins, What # was it off the line

I have an early first gen d350, and am curious to find out when it came off the line, The last6 digits are 030940, Figuring that it was???? the 940th rig off the line for the 89 model year, thinking that it wasent the 940th 1 ton cummins,,, I have googeled till i was going googly, I gave up.
Does anyone here know where i can look up this kind of info?
The manufacture date is 9-88, Just in time for the first cummins to come into the showrooms.
Mabey i have one of the very first? Mabey not, Just would like to know!
Thank you all in advance for any info!
Peter.

Peter's truck is very early because it has the high idle **** - as well as the early "black box" that doesn't turn on the grid heaters until 15 degrees F.

I need to check my '89's production date. Mine has the high-idle, but the heaters come on, I'd guess around 45° or so.

Likewise, but mine's a 90. I wish the high idle cable worked... never thought about fixing it until now. This would be excellent for the upcoming winter I always just kind of figured they all had the high idle

Yeah, the factory fast idle really sends the cool factor through the roof My grids come on around 45, but my engine has a build date of early 1987, so she's one of the originals slated for the Dodge

Where is the engine build date??? Is it in code? What is your build date on door jamb sticker G1625S ????
Please, someone here must know where i can look up the vin, and get an idea of how many were made before it !! Or at least how many were made for the 89 model year, and how many were one ton sticks!
Peter.

From dodgeram.org: CPL 804 serial number range: 44325085 through 44547226, Build dates: 23 Oct 1987 through 31 Dec1990.

My engine serial # is actually lower than 44325085 by a fair amount. My door jamb sticker is so wore I can't read it

Mine says 12-88 on the build date. Has the factory high idle and intake heater won't come on until it is freezing!
