Here is what I have...'01 Dodge 1500/5.2/5speed. This truck was stolen from an employee of mine....it was recovered without the engine, and transmission.

Instead of putting another engine and transmission in the truck I'm wondering what parts I could pull off of it and put on my 1st gen. (example: seats, etc.) I simply don’t want to just call the salvage to come and get the truck. I also thought about parting it out on Craig’s list or eBay.

If any one can help me I'd appreciate it.

The seat can be used, I have a 2nd gen seat in mine.

Not sure if the '01 radio will swap for sure, but I'm thinking maybe. I know a '98 will fit.

I am sure there's other stuff, but that's off the top of my head.

 

Ide say part it out I m sure there are people looking for part's

Just out of curiosity, would a second gen. cab fit a first gen. frame ?

 

use the seats.

and part out the rest. someone out there is looking for a 5.2 magnum and a 5 speed combo

 

I didn't think there would be much I could use....just thought I'd ask. I might swap out the seats, but even then I'd need to have them recovered. I'll probably try to part out the thing as I don't want to give it to a salvage for $50.00
