1st gen Body/Engine/Tranny/TC on F550 Rolling chassis
It is time consuming, but no more time consuming than pre and post heat welding cast iron.
This will be my first time doing it on my own, but have seen it done at the machine shop I used to work at. It is really quite straight forward and was used a lot back in the day when people had to rely on fixing things themselves with simple tools, rather than just buying new replacements or expensive tooling.

You and me both! It seems the extent of which we; as this so called civilized society, have come to see most everything and everyone as disposable, has no limits. Quite sickening.
Just put the order in for the threaded plugs and tapered tap, should be here by the end of the week, so probably get it done this coming weekend.
