Just sold my 99 24V and am in the market for a 1st gen truck. Must be a 4x4 5speed, prefer a W350. It's going to get a flatbed and be used as a work truck so box doesn't matter. I really don't care about miles that much either. I just don't want to pay $12K or more for a truck. Heck, I've found some 94-96's for under that! I've even considered them, as I like the big P pump better anyway. Just don't like the crummy front diff., suspension, and transfer case on the 2nd gen trucks. If anyone knows of one that's not beat too bad, let me know. I'd be willong to travel to get it. I live in Iowa, and I don't see that many 1st gen's around here.

They are in short supply in the Northeast also.At least around me.

I saw 4 or 5 in Las Cruces just before Christmas. I don't know if they were all 4x4 or not. They were in the 4-6000 range. If they are local trucks they will be rust free. I'll be down that way next week and will try to remember to stop there to look.
