I'm forever floored by the "cleanliness" of the western trucks.
That truck is going to be a show stopper when it's done.
Any thoughts on height of the truck ? Lift kit ? Stock springs ?
Big tires ? Little tires, big rims ? Small wiener, big truck ?
Well, at least that's what I hear, anyways...

How did you know about my small wiener And she used to ride in the Peterbilt. she would lay on the floor on the passenger side and look out the window in the bottom of the door.
I welded up the firewall patch. It came out pretty good. I was happy to see my local tool store had the 2" screw on sanding discs. That made my day and the job 100X easier.
It does look sorta crappy when you are in the middle of the job.

I had a little trouble with a breeze blowing my gas away in most cases that would be what you want ,but with a mig welder not so

I love those little 2" disc, on my wee little 90* air grinder. One of my favorite little grinders to use.
I had to wait weeks to weld up the cowl cracks on the crewcab...waiting for an almost calm day. Of course the days that there was little wind usually brought rain...

I will be glad to move on to another thing for a nice change.
Extra stinky poopies....My old shep releases gas all the time.....
Just like her daddy...

Nice welding job, BTW.... but I already expect that of you.
