Question "Newbie" 95 12v starts but cuts out??

I have a 95 12v and I ran in a ditch with it and banged up the front pretty bad, engine is still fine but when I went to go start it, it will start up and run for a few seconds then cut out. Seems to be getting air in the system. TRied priming the system and get the same thing ???any help would be great.Am a Newbie

Tried bumping up your idle?

That hit mighta loosened the little screw and nut and now u need to readjust it. it could also be your fuel shutdown soleniod is outta whack. just readjust it and u might be set..

why would you type this? I really don't think he hit the ditch on purpose. I don't think he said anything about a front axle.

overflow valve

Any of you all think it could be the overflow valve not working and making the pump not keep up enough pressure causing air in the system? And making it cut out.

He can get it to start but when he tries to give it throttle it will just sputter and cut out.
