2005 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L - Gas 'cuts' out on morning starts...
Hello Everyone,
Been having random issues with this truck for nearly the past year (think the original culprit was lightening even tho the the ins. co. would differ) and now recently been having issues with starting in the morning.
Go to start the truck and it literally putters right out (or chokes out - maybe wrong technical terms) - but once you get it going after a few times of it puttering out it's fine. There is no check engine light coming on to give any codes unfortunately.
All/any suggestions greatly appreciated, thank you.

It sounds like you're not getting enough fuel. When was the last time that you changed fuel filters?
Also when you start the truck can you hear the fuel pump run? How much pressure do you have going to the injector pump?
