a lot of people seem to have close to the problem i am having but i dont see any answers. my 1996 dodge stopped at a light a few weeks back and i hit the gas when it turned green and my RPMs went up and the truck nowhere...it suddenly plugged along, got going, then was fine. i found it odd but kept driving, did it again. now i drive it and manually shift from first to second then drive. please tell me what i need fixed, parts and all would be wonderful. thanks

 

before you spend any large $$$... drain fluid and replace with synthetic... adjust your clutch bands while pan is off.

buy a pan gsk/filter kit before starting
instruction for adjusting clutch bands are in your manual and at Geno's garage
