More air!
Or , less fuel.
How much boost are you seeing?
Air filter clean?

You can run more boost with a HX35 without hurting it.

Without boost numbers, sorta hard to help, but air is the first part to get. That and some added timing would bring them down a tad at peak HP..

IMO you need a different plate. A 100 plate isn't ment for hauling that kind of load. Get a 10 plate and dial the fuel back.

x2. I can haul all day long with my 100 plate - but I gotta watch the skinny pedal!

Reduce fuel or increase air. That's about all you can do.

I second getting a #10.
I got tired of towing with a 100 in less than ten minutes.
I rather watch the road than the pyro.

It reminded me of a beater Chevy pickup I had as a teenager.
Previous owner put a branch though the radiator and crimped off about two thirds of the radiator tubes to keep it from leaking.
Had to constantly use the accelerator to control the coolant temp.

Pulling my 10,500 fiver I never see over 1000 on the pyro and 38 lb boost. I like the fact that with the 10 plate I don`t have to watch the pyro.Just installed posilock and wish I would have done that a long time ago. Sweet that tranny temps don`t clime so much getting the fiver parked.

rustydeeretech:

I agree with the advice the other members are giving you on changing your fuel curve torque plate.

I am also a big believer in the water injection systems for our trucks and have had water injection on my 1996 Dodge CTD 12 for over seven (7) years now with excellent success. Water injection will absolutley drop your EGT's under all conditions.

If you are interested, here is a link to a thread a bunch of us here contributed to on water injection. There is ALOT of info in the thread so get ready for some long reading:

Hope this helps you Sir!
