Who knows? With OPEC severely cutting production, it will probably go back up. (another reason for more domestic drilling) In fact, my SIL said last night that the RaceTrack in Plano where he goes went up $.10/gal, for regular unleaded, yesterday.

Yes...but they felt that it wasn’t going to do much good as oil prices still were slumping even after they announced the cut...so..we shall see...i dont really understand it...but from what they (MSNBC) said again, investors are not willing to take the risk now...hence the low prices...which proves that price of oil was not being driven by simple supply and demand....but what do i know..i only burn the crap.....

Since today seems a slow day for the DTR, I thought I'd share my morning expirience with everyone.

HELP WANTED Ad in Durant, OK Newspaper.....

GYNOCOLOGISTS ASSISTANT

-Help prep patients for the doctor.
-Undress them
-Wash their private area
-Shave them when required
-Help them put on their Hospital gowns
-Put their feet in the stirrups
-Talk with them until the Doctor comes in

I called and gave my qualification! The Doctors receptionist said "Your qualified. The job pays $65,000 a yr ...... but you'll have to drive to McKinney, TX."

Me - "Is that where the Doctors office is?"

Recptionist - "No........ That's the end of the applicants interview line!"

No wonder 75 was backed up today!

On a related note, I took everyone's advice and procured a nubile young female for myself.

Been playing with the Quadzilla Adrenaline and realized the new Pulse monitor can read Fuel Temp (among about 20 other fun readings).

Got a question - 19* OAT this am and my fuel temp was reading over 90*??

With the aftermatket FASS and no factory fuel heater hooked up.....
-How is the fuel getting so warm so quickly?
-Where is the Cummins computer reading it?
My guess is the temp sensor is in/near the fuel pump. Anyone know?

EDIT:

Disregard my previous statement.

The fuel temp sensor in the fuel heater assembly is not computer controlled. There is a separate temp sensor built into the VP44 that the is used to monitor fuel temperature. It's purpose is to set a code in the event of high fuel temp, but I suppose the Pulse could read the signal to give you an output of fuel temp within the pump.

Thanks for the research. I looked in a couple of places and saw nothing.
So I guess the VP-44 cooks the fuel to 90* just by pushing it through the rotary pump. Seem pretty high temp for initial start up on a very cold morning....No?
But if sensor is just past the pump and considering the high fuel pressure generated ..... serious temps may not be unreasonable. Opinions?
