There's nothing wrong with your truck. It is supposed to do that when it gets to a certain temp. Mine usually idles for about a minute before it ramps up, but if it is real cold out then it idles up immediately. Its the norm.

Not sure about your clearance lights. Maybe a pinched wire or something.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and sounds like it would be a good idea to stay out of the metroplex.

Yeah no time to really ride it yet. It was freshly new out of the crate. I think I have put maybe 4 miles on it riding it around the field behind my house. That will change soon I hope!

And actually, I have another set of tires to go on it....ITP Terra Cross on another spare new set of stock Yamaha Grizzly black rims. They are already mounted, I just haven't switched them over to the bike yet. The stock tires aren't to bad so I thought I'd try them out a while first before making the switch.

Oh, I meant to mention the power steering is SWEEEET!

You can sit on the bike with it still and take your finger and turn the handlebar. It really eliminates alot of jarring (supposedly, since I haven't tried it yet) out of tough technical terrain. It will make all day riding much less tiring, so "they" say.

Merry Christmas everyone!! Went to Florida and just got back day ago. Bent my rear hitch pulling out an F-350 4x4 that was sitting on the frame. But come to find out it was just the bolts were loose on the hitch. Got a picutre. Will have to post later on. Dad sent me home with a free set of 3gen polished wheels and a set of Grand Prix 36" mount on steel wheels for the 12v (will be used for muddin and pullin). 6.7 averaged 16mpg going 75-80mph on the trip. Not to bad IMO. See you all were talking about the high idle. My 6.7 did that the other day and a called Mike just to make sure that was right. Pretty cool and warmed right up for me. HotFox says howdy to all and Merry Christmas. Charlie when is the next meet??? I leave in 3 weeks man!!! Well take it easy all.

Hey dan feel your pain. I lived in Germany for 2 years. 3cy. idle kicked in all the time. Coldest I've ever started my old 98.5 24v was -37 in Austria one morning. BBRRRRR!!!!

Fox out!!

Glad you and the HotFox made it back OK. Sounds like Santa was pretty good to you.

I'll give you a call on Sat or Sun.

You may have to try out the power steering....may make you want to sell off the polaris and get a yama. (not to be confused with a yam bag..)
