Question Springdale Travel Trailers?

Anyone here have any comments/experience on Springdale/Summerland travel trailers?? Lookin at a 2007 - 26" on clearance pricing, looks to be made well but I know it's a lower line trailer. Just checking to see if any known major issues??
TIA

I just bought one - a 2007 29' - we like it - it's our first one, so I didn't want to drop a ton of cash.

As far as it being junk as Buckshotmkee said, I have to disagree. We had an issue with the tires wearing out, but the dealer got us 5 new ones, and now there's a recall because of the bad tires.

Sure, there's better out there, but it all depends on how much you want to spend.... it's a great entry-level trailer.

Springdale is cheap and not put together well it is there lowend cheap model. I would not buy one. You get what you pay for spend and extra 5 to 10 grand and get somthing better it will pay off in the end. You will put $ into it and not get anything out of it when you sell it.

We've got an 04 269 RLLS and have had zero trouble with it (other than the stock tires that came on it). We had 2 blow outs in the first 3 months we had the trailer. Replaced them with Goodyear Marathons and have towed it over 15,000 trouble free miles.

My neighbor has one, 2007 I believe and he is generally satisfied with it. He did have tire problems on his first trip out, (two blowouts on same side).

This is not his first TT so he had another to compare it to. One thing he noticed is the open underbelly, meaning the tanks are not heated or insulated, whereas his old one had an enclosed underbelly.

ValkSmile - I don't recall who made the old tires - I just sent my copy of the recall notice to my dad because he just bought one too - but they replaced all 5 with BCT JK42 ( never heard of them ) and they are much better.

Big T - I do have to admit that Keystones are not the best out there, but this was my first, and didn't want to drop a lot of cash on my first. We've got just over 20 nights in it and have had no issues yet other than I wish I had bought a toy hauler instead.
