Springdale trailers by Keystone

My wife and I have started looking at travel trailers. We saw two used 2003 Keystone Springdale tags in the 26 to 30 foot range. Any opinions on the quality of these trailers? The trailers have been very well maintained. The models we looked at were 266REW and 286RL. The 266 has a single 14 foot slide and the 286 has two slides, one in the dining area and the other in the bedroom. Both have full awnings and heat and AC. The dealer wants $11,900 for either one.

incabird - I think it really boils down to how much you wanna spend - we bought a the 29 BHG new and really like it - it's definitley an entry-level trailer, but we've had around 20 nights in it this summer and have had no problems with the camper - BUT - make sure they replace the crap Milestar tires - there's a recall on them for blowing out etc...

What year's were the recall on those tires? I have a springdale, that I bout the 07 model, just want to know if I should take the tires back to the dealer, and get them replaced.

Johnny - the recall was on the 07's - if I were you, I'd play it safe and take it down to them - my tires looked like hamburger with less than 1000 miles on them.

BTW - the bad tires were "milestars".

I'd say if you like it, it seems to be well maintained, go for it and enjoy it.
