Smarty or Edge Juice/attitude

I want one for MPG increase while towing approx. 10,000 lbs. I really cann't decide on which one. Don't care about power increases as each will do that and with my stock truck don't want more power. I do want MPG increase.

I like the idea of the edge juice/atittude with the gauges and built in safety features.

I also like the smarty with code reader, feature enable, and totally indectable. Not that anyone should try and hide problems they caused themselves.

I can get either one for only a few dollars difference.

I have had modified vehicles/trucks in the past and know all the assest/liability fun/problems so please don't lecture me on what I should have as support components.

Which level to run on would be o.k.
Any problems with either units?

For MPG increase which one would you use?
Thanks,
Ron

Honsetly untill the warrenty runs out I wouldn't touch it!

But.... if you REALLY must than I say the juicew/a. If you're going to play with it then you need guages, especially when towing! Also you can change the power level at the tough of a button, so if its getting too hot you can back off the power level. The Smarty would require stopping and doing a new download.

if you really want mpg increase i'd say go with an edge ez. it may not come with gauges but i never put mine in danger with the ez, and i did some pulling with it. i got better mileage with the ez on this highest hp setting than i do with the juice on the mileage setting....its cheaper too

I hear what your saying about the warranty. I went through that fiascle with DC on my 1999 which was their problem from the day I drove it off the lot. The dealer suckered me into modifing it just to get rid of me and my problematic truck.

Your absolutely right about the versatility of the Edge Juice/Attitude monitor guages and adjustability.

Aren't the setting the same on the EZ as they are on the Edge Juice/Attitude with a little more setting for the juice plus you can do it on the fly? Stock truck I need something to tell me whats going on and the juice/attitude seems to fit that bill.

ez is on the fly, but a switch not a monitor. and ez adjust fuel pressure while juice is timing and duration i believe. i'm just saying i got better mpg with the ez turned up then i do with the jucie on its "mileage" setting

Yup, you can read codes on the attitude. I haven't seen mpg increase. Some others here will say the same but some won't....The gauges with the attitude are pretty nice though.

Ye Ha, that just removed one of the pluses about the Smarty. Now if the Edge Juice/Attitude could enable the features already in my ECM. I suppose I could always have the dealer do it.
