to do it all over again i would go with the juice with attitude monitor, you get gauges and programable parameters for defueling and its looks nicer than a 3 pod pillar, also the juice tapped will give you way more power than a smarty, get the juice and if you need more later find a used smarty thier out there

Depends on how far you plan on going with HP....and what tranny you have? If this will be your only increase...do the Juice, unless you have an Auto tranny, which can't handle all the Juice will throw at it!

I like the Attitude monitor ten times better then my crappy A-pillar mount. Cheaper too. Gauges, with electric fuel pressure will set you back about $500. That means the Juice is only $200.

I would love to try a Smarty, but the price is too high IMO. $650 for 70hp? Maybe if it was 170hp like the common rail version. If it wa $400, I would probably stack it with the Juice.

Very happy with my Juice. More low end and heck of a lot more top end then my VanAaken(just on Level One).

Go with the juice it is great and if you tap you will not be short of power! Just be sure if it is going on an auto to rebuild soon, that is what i did and the stick shifts can't hardly keep up.Get The Juice!

For the beginner with no guages the juice with att is a good setup , it does alot and the timer will pay for itself in time , smartys r awsome but for the guy with pretty much stock setup the juice is yr best bet , I got both and cant complain on ether

I would go with the juice also. It is more power for your money. And if you don't want all of the power right away don't tap the wire.

The Juice with Attitude is the way to go if you don't have gauges - certainly much better looking and more features. If you don't have the Smarty or have never run one, don't knock it. You don't know what you're missing. It's awesome - you won't believe that you're drdiving the same truck.

Exactly. I did the same thing. Just put a South Bend Mu 1947 CON OFE in last weekend. We'll see how it holds after the new turbo and injectors this weekend. Hopefully I won't have to upgrade the clutch to the FE. I'm scared!!

<On Edit> Mine would slip the stock clutch on level 3 with fuel at 3. No joke.

Yep gotta jump on the wagon with another vote for the Edge w/ TUDE!! The Smarty is cool, but doesn't have all the toys that the Edge does plus you get gauges with it!!
