Roadmaster Active VS Air Lift air bags

Roadmaster Active Suspension VS Air Lift air bags

I have a 95 gal transfer tank (720lbs when full) in the bed and pull an Weekend warrior 23 ft (7000lbs) and rear is sagging more then I'd like.

The question is will the Roadmaster Active Suspension keep the truck up or will the air bags be a better choice. Both are in the same price range. (well air bags would be more with tank and compressor)

Thanks, Steve

I would say the Roadmaster is more for a fixed heavy load, like Hellwig's and airbags are better for adjustability when loaded and unloaded. For RV use, I'd say airbags. IMHO

I'm interested in them, too. I want something that will help with the load and reduce wheel hop when empty.

I had the roadmaster on a 02 Dakota 4x4 4.7 quad cab that I used to own. I put them on to tow my 27' ultralite. They really took the sag out of the rearend of the truck when hooked up. It doesnt affect the stock ride when unloaded at all. When loaded it made the rear of the truck alot stiffer so the ride tightened up. It took alot of the body roll away also, nice when towing.
I think that the roadmaster system is a great setup for towing a camper or hauling heavy stuff.
I am going to do an airbag setup on my current truck. I want the adjustability, and an air compressor and tank.
