Roadmaster Trailers

Hi,

I was just wondering if any of you own a Roadmaster trailer 24'+. As I am looking at buying a 2003 Campmaster 48' 5th Wheel 20' Living Quarters, 28' Car Bay and am a little bit uneasy about the construction of the trailer Double 8" tubing, as opposed to I-Beam or C channel, the trailer is brand new as someone ordered it in and never finished the deal.

Also on the same note I was wondering if my 99 Ram 2500 CTD (24v) would pull this trailer, as it'll be nearing the 18,000lb range once fully loaded. I'll be installing airbags on the truck, and will have atleast D load range tires on it. so it should carry the weight without going to Duallys (gonna try it first). With the Living Quarters the truck/trailer doesn't need to be legal as it's an RV (checked with the ministry they said it was A-OK)
the truck will also be going back down to 245's for the summer to help get the gear ratio back to the 3.54 it's supposed to be (I think somewhere in the 3.50's anyway)

thanks,
Devin
