I said it before and i will say it again, i pull avg 22,000#'s mostly flat land driving and I avg 8-9 doing around 70 mph. If i stick myself behind a semi doing 65, it jumps to 10 mpg. My overhead is pretty accurate. I have a 35 gallon tank, not including aux, and i get around 270 miles avg before fill up unless i stick myself behind a nice trucker then I get around 350 miles!!!! I miss the 12v.

I get on average 10 -11 mpg . Dont matter if I'm pulling the small trailer or the big TT. Only get better MPG when I tow the flat bed trailer goes to about 13-14 with the same load of about 7k .Wind resistance on the TT and enclosed car hauler trailer has a lot to do with it. I'm sure if I slowed down it would go up a few, generally @ 70mph

Checked it Friday with a 30 foot gooseneck in tow but nothing on the trailer and knocked down 15.33 mpg running 72 mph. Of course I was driving across Kansas so mileage would probably be less in other states.

At 65mph 10-11, 70mph 9-10 in 6th gear.

At 55mph in 5th gear 12.5 to 13.5. Don't get to run 55 very often.

I need a 4:10 if I going to tow all the time. I fugure it should turn out at 12-13 mpg at 65mph maybe better with this fifth wheel I have.

went to barstow and back for a race towing cajon pass we usually go up the 14 but the freeway was messed up because of the big rig wreck. we averaged 12.5 mpg pulling 65, on the grades we slowed down to 60. these numbers are from our '03. wife brought up '05 later and got 19.4 mpg running empty. but that was with some "play time" on the race course.....bilsteins performed beyond my expectations.............
