15 MPG, my trailer is about 2250 pounds less than yours, but I was towing it through some good hills. Best speed I found to tow at was 60 MPH or less, any moer than that and the drag increases exponentially.

The newer trucks get a little less mileage than the older ones. I get about 10.5 to 11 mpg towing a 15k 5th wheel.

Less than 11 mpg towing 2400 miles with a 7k TT with my 02, I'm hoping for a bad map sensor, normally I get 12-13 in the rockies, that trip was all flat land KS, IA, and MN But I was doing 70mph vs normal Rockies at 60-65mph)

Mine gets 10-11 mpg towing 34ft 5th wheel at 60-65mph. Speed makes a big difference with all the extra wind resistance from a tall trailer.

I got almost 16 mpg pulling a 7,000 lb fifth wheel on a 300 mile round trip. About 60% of the distance was on the interstate.

I can get 13 mpg running 60 mph down to 10 mpg at 70 mph. I usually run between 65 to 68 mph and get right at 11 mpg. Our 5th wheel weighs 11k loaded.

I get about 12 pulling a 28' fifth wheel. 18k lbs total.

Has been pretty consistent except for the day we pushed against strong headwinds for about 7 hrs straight with no relief. Got about 9.5 mpg on that trip. The driver of the ferd rig that was drafting me (with a smaller trailer) said he got about 6 on that run and the wind was killing his truck. Mine wasnt working that hard but did listen to the turbo whining all the way.

I finished a 2550 mile trip to ND last month and averaged 11.5 for the trip. Wind, mtns, traffic, speed, frontal area, gear ratio, etc, all play on your mileage. I ran 58-60 mph for most of the trip and this is the best mileage I have obtained over this route. (I do this trip almost every year)

I have made shorter runs of 170 miles and have averaged 13.8 at the same speeds but the terrain was different.

There are all kinds of variables that come into play so IMO the mileage you got is probably close to normal.
