Clearance ? For Air Lift On 4x4

I want to put air lift bags on the rear. I moved the two spacers from under the springs to the top. From the bottom of the rubber bumper pad bracket to the top of the axle I have 7''. Is this enough clearance for the bags ?. I called Air Lift & talked with some blonde I think, because she told me I needed 10'' of clearance for #57280 bags.

I put them on my 03 and promptly removed them. It is a very pour design in my opinion, mine would bottom out all the time.

Called airlift and they said that you had to put enough air in them to keep the rear of the truck at normal ride height all of the time. Well that is just a whole bunch too tall to get most trailers to pull level, atleast the ones I have.

If I recall you only had like 3" of travel even at normal ride height. The bags were 5" full compress and like you said only have about 7" to start with.

Mopar_Mudder did yours bolt on the axle or on top of the springs?

They go between the axle and spring in place of the bump stop that you take out. That is the only way they mount on 03 and newer, unless they have changed something recently.
