TNDTR Chapter #34 Discussion thread
Go down I65 south to exit 6. Go east to Fayetteville. Take the 64 bypass(right). Go1 and a half give or take. As soon as you pass Goodman there will be a road to your left (don't know the name of it) Turn left go past Averitt Trucking and fair grounds will be on your right. Or you can go to the second road past Goodman and the fairgrounds will be on your left. Starts at 7:00 pm. Can't remember what it cost to get in.

The 64 bypass is that the same road that Patrick Trailer sales is on? Got my bed over there and sounds familiar. I believe I'll be there, told kids about it. Diesel prices went up .20-.30 cents yesterday.........

Alright, that'll work. Tried to find an address for the place on the web today so I could gps it or a road and I found lots of info from the Fayetteville city site.....nothing more than a picture of the fairground entrance..

Oh well, I'll look for all the diesel trucks and follow them!
What's going on here.......I'm starting to think the Tennessee #34 consists of me........and you?????

Yeah, I plan on being there......hopefully I won't have to give up a kidney or a lung at the next fill up for the truck!! Better be careful, they'll be wanting my kids in exchange for a tank of fuel next.

Waaahhoooo!!! Finally got my truck back together. It feels different drivin a 97 than an 06. LOL Been driving my dads 06 when he wasn't using it for work. Me and KVD finished it up bout 10 last night. Don't leak near as much oil when the timing cover is not cracked.

yeah, we had a good time. Kids were wound up right till the last tractor pulled. When they hit the truck I don't think they made it to the shell station and they were all asleep! I thought that was you out there and then saw KVD and he said yep that was you.
Every year these things get harder to go to. This one was kids 5 and under free, all mine are over 5! Lawrenceburg, was 6 and under.....luckily one is 6. Yeah, had the good times for several years, free entry, free food at restuarants.....now that's all gone...

Told the kids this weekend we'll take a break. They were relieved, they like the pulls but they understand a good day at home without running around all over. Told them I may have to haul off a car to Pulaski, I saw the "awww" look in their eyes. I need to get some posts in anyhow, moving my goats to the front. They've done ate everything down on the other side, looks like I mowed it. So I'm having to arrange shelter for them on the front half, repair the fence and make it a bit bigger so I have a place to put the building that is kinda level. Not to mention having to cut out my sidewalk so I can run my gutter down pipe underground, it drains right on the corner of the house so I'm gonna dig a trench and put in pvc to run it out 15ft or so.
Well, see ya at the Campbellsville pull.

Looks like there is a pull in Crossville on the 24th, according to the schedule it says no diesel trucks. http://www.midtnpullers.com/index2.html
Just want to say hi, I have spent most of my time over on the Powerstrokenation, but I have a windowed 7.3 now. Looking for a common rail to convert to. I think I know some of you guys but not familar with the names on here. Any way, I may need some help with the mods since I am not as familar with the cummins. My name is Matt Scruggs in Lynchburg, TN

Well as you may have noticed I did not make it to Campbellsville. I thought about the cost to get in, the cost to drive there and the many other things I could be doing to try and make some green. So, stayed around the house. Truck moved about 7 miles to the dump on Friday for a total trip of about 14 or so and that was it for the truck. Oh yeah, went to the end of the drive Sunday afternoon to grab my auxillary fuel tank that I aquired from the dumpster at work. It's a big sucker, has a crack in it so they chucked it. I'll pressurize it, weld it and convert it to put on my truck. Got a long trip coming up this summer and hoping to fill up tank of truck and aux tank and go up and back without paying higher northern gas prices.....
I thought about a meet, but holy smokes....I don't know if there would be any diesels there. Me and Mark could bring our Saturns!!
I got a loud pipe on mine, maybe with prices the way we are we could switch gears and become a ricer club!!!

Oh, check this out, given you guys the first look at what I found. It's a tractor pulling game...I played around with it the other night and got to level 5 and my deere just would not go past 273 feet.

Dodgeguy I was wondering if you ever made it down. The trucks where suppose to start about 5 or 5:30 but as usual they got started late. like around 10 I think I can't remember. It was a pretty decent pull 10 trucks show up. 6 dodges 3 dmaxs and 1 ford with a driveout tag. LOL After the first one went do the track I started gettin the ich again to have mine out there. But it is getting closer. Dont lack a lot more, few parts and some labor. Hopefully soon. The pull itself was over with around 12:30 ish.
I got to do some fixin on my flatbed. As most that I've seen do eventually. The pig tail for the headlight switch melted and got the switch to. I happen to have had another switch but do ya'll what the dodge dealer wants for the connector and about a foot of wire? . . . only $78. I jus couldn't make myself buy it so as usual it is going to get fixed my way. Good working order but cheap. LOL
