Shoot, I might make it to the Campbellsville pull after all!! When did they reschedule it for? This weekend? No welding, no worries just me goofing off.....after I haul stuff to the magnet god first thing saturday morning. Would be great to debut my truck down there....in it's very very loud way.

Unfortunately, muffler is in the forecast for the big stacks. Although getting it off the bed and putting in the rubber bushings between the bed mounts helped a lot, plus I raised them up about 4 inches. You can really see them from the front now, but my ears are happier, especially with the windows open going through town. Fun part is I can still watch my right mirror for smoke. I have a small 2 inch round on the right and when I get her smokin up a hill with a load I can see the smoke in my little mirror.......should probably watch the road!!!

Hows that pullin truck coming? That one down in Lynnville is coming up aint it? Kids are excited about that one, especially after all the rain takin out the Campbellsville pull. Heck, we went down on saturday the 12th to Pulaski south on 166 and just before you get into Campbellsville you could see a tree line had been taken out by the tornado. Saw some sheriffs over there blocking the entrance to a couple roads, must be back in behind the hills that got hit. Sure hate to see that kind of stuff, darn tornados around here this year are crazy. Startin to think I live in Kansas or something.

Well the pull truck got kicked to 2nd place . . again. Got an oil leak on the front of the motor. I'm thinkin timin cover. KDP??? not sure yet. The pull in Lynnville is the 26th of this month. I was hopin to be done but once again its not. Gonna have to do get it done soon though. Got somebody complaining bout it sittin in the front yard. LOL Yea it got kinda rough over that way and towards lewisburg I think. The last time one of those kinds of storms come through here we lost one of our new barns. Hadn't been up 4 months. I could do without seein any of those storms for a long time.

Hey now, nothing wrong with us "northern folk"!! What's up guys, sorry, I haven't really been in the forums for a while now. I've been working 3 jobs and trying to spend time with my pregnant wife and 1 year old son! Sleep seems to be a thing of the passed, I guess I am making up for those lazy teenage years

Well went to Bowling Green this past weekend. Had a blast. A friend of mine pulled in the 2.8 class well tried. We did some work on the truck till early morning hours all last week. Got up there and hooked and we think the timing slipped on the truck. Start spooling the turbo start smokin black then jus fall off to white and gray. We haven't pulled it in the shop yet to check it out though. Pulled my truck in the shop tonight to put a new front seal in sence we thought thats where my oil leak was coming from. I pulled the fan off with some help from a friends girlfriend. LOL and went to pull the front cover off and what did I hear hit the floor? . . . yep a dowl pin! Then look at the spacer on the front. Yep get to pull the pump and cam to fix this one. Got a section about 4 inches give or take long out of the spacer. Jus when I had said I was gonna order stuff for the pull truck the next day this had to happen. Ol'well I reckon I'll pull it down tomorow night and try to fix it.

deereguy, sorry about the bad luck with the dowel pin! I had one drop before, luckily it cause almost no damage at all and I was able to fix it with a seal kit and some JB weld, lol. It knocked just a little section out of the timing case and the pin went out causing no more damage. on the early 1st gens there was some sort of port for a barring tool or something, made it just weak enough to get through. Oh well... off to bed, should have been there an hour ago.
