Hey who's the new guy!! Must be one of those New Yoorkers!!
Welcome back Mark! Nice to see ya back around. Yep, raising a family, kinda sucks cause you have to work so much and are'nt there to see them......kinda weird. I've been lazy the last week or two, just milling around doing my thing, trying to get caught up on home stuff.
Deereguy, seems that truck is just going backwards on ya! I don't know if I can get you a spacer any cheaper through cummins by saying I work for.......you know who, but I could try if you have the engine serial number. Just call me if you want, during regular work hours are fine, usually just me in the shop and my boss don't care. I think my vacuum pump leaks oil and have seen that is a problem around our community.
Looks like May 31 is the pull in Campbellsville, told ya I'd make it to that one. Actually thought about hookin in Lynnville just for the heck of it to see what she would do, decided I had no hitch
Sounded like a good scape-goat!! The pull in Lynnville was better than I expected, with the thing in BG going on. Kids kept saying, stinking bowling green, they wanted to see Chases' truck again! I think I saw those two boys down there, never bumped into them. The tall one with the 3500 and all the clear chicken lights under the front and the other big boy with the blue regular cab with the wire problem. The stacks look good by the way!! Was it Chance and for some reason I'm thinking sweetwater??? Is that right?
Well, wifes gonna kill me if I don't get off the puter soon......we should have an unofficial somewhat kinda if ya can get together in Campbellsville. The northern location guys may want to sit it out due to the distance.....believe me, I understand. Truck don't move much here lately.......

Yea I got a cover on the way I reckon. Still don't know how much it is but I got to have it. I'll try to put some pics up if I get a chance to. Been kinda busy lately. Its ugly I'll tell you. lol I knew I shouldn't have raced that blonde in that in that powerstroke that day I noticed the leak. LOL
Yea dodgeguy Chance is the one with the blue dually and Sweetwater is the one with the stacks. He got his box/wiring problem fixed but the vp is going out I believe. He bought a p-pump from me for it so we got another project to do!

gonna p-pump the 24 valve....wow, I've heard than can be pricey! I suppose most of it is due to people paying other people to do it. Supposed to be a good mod though, best of both worlds.
Yes if you buy all the stuff from someone it can get expensive. All he has left to get are the lines. Those are bout $300-400 a set but they're prebent. Have to have the pressures reduced on the injectors I think but I'm not positive on that. Got a friend that pulled a green dodge at Lynnville that has a flatbed thats p-pumped and his brother has done 2 or 3. I don't think he has but bout $450 in it at the moment. So maybe it won't be that bad.

Was that the green extended cab? I've heard people saying $5k to convert and I thought "What!!"
They're(24 valves) are supposed to be pretty wicked p-pumped are'nt they? Hey, maybe you can put his vp on your 12v!!

Yea the guy that drove the green truck has another green truck that has a p-pump 24 valve. If you buy a p-pump and buy the kit from somebody like scheid or haisley and pay someone to do it you could probly spend that. But this is like my pull truck. Run good but cheap as possible. lol I think hes gonna get the small delivery valves out of my pump when I get my new ones. Suppose to have gotten all my parts in today for the flatbed truck. They gotta send everything together except for one gasket. Go figure. Ol well. Ain't drove the thing in 3 weeks now I'm kinda startin to miss blowin smoke and drivin it! lol

with fuel the way it is thats probably not a bad thing. I drove mine once to work last week.....got to missin my truck. Then drove it this weekend around town and such, then we went down in the field and pulled up a bunch of t-posts. Trying to rearrange the field a bit, push the fence out a bit give the goats a bit more tall grass to eat. The darn field looks like you ran a mower over it, unreal!! Got to get them in the front yard and let them have at it. Only problem is no barn so if it rains they get mad, they're not to fond of getting wet!
Been planting stuff on the back hill this weekend. Daughter likes sunflowers so putting out a bunch of those. Dug into my rock pile and filled with top soil and put out 5 watermelon mounds. Wife has me planting some flower things and decided I'm gonna get me a couple apple trees, pear and maybe cherry trees. Figure the more I plant on that miserable hillside the less I'll have to mow....or use a weedeater.

I hear ya on the fuel prices. I'm lookin for a beater to drive back in forth to work but since I sold me truck a couple of weeks ago I been drvin my cousion's farm truck.
89 Ford 3/4 ton 4x4 5speed with a big block 460. Man drivin it easy and it still drinks fuel.

Well, I just heard on the news that they are saying that there may(will be) a oil price surge(no kidding) that could(will) push oil prices up to $200 per barrel!! So, basically that means the oil monkeys ain't happy yet with the price of oil, so they are gonna manipulate it to get it up to $200 a barrel. Nice, see and ya'll thought I was joking about the horse and buggy!!
I Won't be able to afford filling up my lawn mower, time to fence in the rest of the yard and let the goats have at it. Only problem is they'll probably eat the siding off my house, chew all the wires off my vehicles and most likely leave little things all over the deck that look like milk duds!!
I guess I'll be parking the truck and getting some anitque tags for it, maybe get the insurance for classic cars, only lets you put on 2500 miles a year or something. Now I just have to figure out how to get 4x8 sheets of plywood on a moped. Hey, I saw a tandem trailer..........Amish rig the other day. Told my wife, "hey, with the gas prices the way they are.....I think they got something there". Gonna be a flood on the horse market now.

I need to get me something little to drive to work. I know how you feel dodgeguy on missing your truck. Ain't drove mine in 3 and a half weeks. Finally got it into the shop last night and started taring into it. Almost ready to pull the cam out. Made it home bout 2 this morning. LOL Go back tonight and do some more. The flatbed is covered in new and old parts. It looks bad. May have to play with a few things while the pump is off. LOL Gotta get back to taring a tractor down. Busted transmission housing FUN project. LOL

You need to get it back together so you can go to the tractor pull in Lawrenceburg this weekend. That's where I'll be saturday night, Woodbury is just to darn far to go. Don't get to deep into your truck, it may end up like your pulling truck!!

But with diesel the way it is, what the heck, spending money on parts and mods may be cheaper than a tank full of fuel!!

Well, went to the pull in Lawrenceburg last night for a few hours til it started to rain. They were wanting to finish the hot farm and they were down to the last 3 tractors and they had just pulled the sled down. Announcer said they're seems to be a problem with the sled....well it broke, so they had to end it finally. This is the second time I've been rained on at that one.
I was surprised though, they had a ton of tractors there. Apparently there were 3 of the top tractors in the nation there and a whole bunch more. This is a really good pull to go to......as long as it don't rain. I think they were saying they were gonna have another pull in August and then one for the county fair. Surely gonna try for the August pull.

Yea dodgeguy Lawrenceburg is always a good pull. I didn't make it that far over. Made it to Pulaski and stopped to see a friend of mine while she was workin by the time we left there it had started raining. Have to try to make it for their fair pull. I think they'll diesel trucks at that one.
Finnally got the truck going Sat. morning bout 4:00. All got left to do is put the radiator, intercooler and front bumper on. Maybe we can get it back together so I can run some of that liquied gold all the fuel stations are selling through it. LOL
We are having a pull down here next weekend at the fair grounds. I think its gonna be a Mid South points pull. Having Super Farm and 10k lbs. Prostock tractors and 2wd and open 4wd trucks. They are gonna let the diesel trucks pull with the open 4wd gas trucks. Should be a good pull hopefully. I'll be there working.

You'll have to give me some directions, times etc, told the kids we needed some pullin action this coming up weekend since L-burg was rained out. Ya'll ain't to far off down the highway. Tis the season to watch the tractor pulls. Daughter is crazy for the diesel tractors and trucks!! She's only 10!! Told her I'd love to take them all up the the big one in indy, lots and lots of trucks, she said "cool".
