Work on Saturday......I heard on the news they were saying the American Workers were the most productive in the world........no wonder, we're always working. Was on a jobsite last weekend for another much needed Super smiley mart and the guy asked if I could bring a battery out on Monday. I said monday??? That's a holiday?? Are you working monday?? He said, yeah. I told him I'd see him Tuesday if that is what my manager wanted.
They said France gets 35 vacation days and England gets something like 22?? I think we were around 10 ish. Unless you have to work on Saturday!!

Work-a-holics are'nt we!! I think I did work Labor Day, working on a holiday for Shawn's business is good, working on a holiday for big corporation....BAD

The meet was small but fun. 5 trucks total. Rob (TnLoneWolf), Shawn (DodgeGuy71), my two trucks, and my friend mike showed up. We had burgers, brats, corn on the cobb, chips, soda, and some sweet tea. 3 first gens, 1 2nd gen, and 1 3rd gen. No wrenching done, though I did try to sucks Shawn into helping me get that second turbo in my truck
.
KVD where were you? thought you'd be here today, I was gonna try to sell you that motorcycle again!
Boz, show us you're alive... at least post "yes, i am alive" lol.
Maybe we just need ot find a place downtown to meet. We are all so spread out around nashville it's a hike no matter which direction we go. Anyone want to shoot for a cold weather meet or just wait till the 2nd annual dyno day in march?

Boys, I guess I got into this thread too late. I did not know about this meet. I would be up for a cold weather meet, though. When and where is the dyno day in March? I would like to get the ol girl on a dyno.
JSPulliam21- shawn will be setting up the dyno day. it was over at a place in murfreesboro last year, not sure if it will be the same place again.
Rob- Did I hear you peeling out at the end of our street as you left? lol

Well I want to thank our VP for hosting this little shin ding and setting it all up. Not to hard to rope me into something like that Mark!!
I too am up for a cold weather meet. Do we need it around Nashville someplace? Saturdays kinda suck cause so many of us get that friday afternoon my boss wants me to work thing happening. I almost had to work the saturday of the meet, would have fought that tooth and nail!! Just not to sure where to hang out for a couple of hours in Nashville to make it worth while. We could meet at the parking lot at LP field on a saturday and tailgate.....if anyone asks we can tell them we're getting ready for the big game!! Just really really early!!!!
You guys brought it up, so Our dyno day, 2nd Annual Smoke Em' If You Got Em' Bash
It looks like it will be on March 15, 2008 at the Performance Garage in Smyrna, Tn which is between M-boro and Lavergne off of I-24. This time we'll start around 10am or so. We'll do the grill thing for lunch, hopefully and I'll will strive to have a vendor there.....besides me!! So mark it on your calendars boys and gals I want a good turn out this year, not that last year was not good because it was excellent for our first run at the dyno.
If the cost has not changed you new guys will be looking at about $75 to run on the dyno, run a couple different settings on your juice boxes. If you get into adjusting etc. etc long time on dyno, price goes up.
I will be giving out a prize for highest hp/torque rating on the dyno. I hope to convince our other vendor into doing something similar. It was mentioned that we might have a competition for best looking, most unique trucks. Let me know your thoughts on that.
I know this is really early, but if you pencil it in now you can say, "I've been planning this for 6 months!!!"
So everybody chime in!!!

Wish I could've made the meet. I drove my dads 06 ton to the weddin and long about mile 170 of a 250 mile trip the fuel filter desided it was going to die so I babied it and made it on time. Then had to buy a filter before I came home. I'm up for a winter meet. I should be there this time as look as it ain't on nov 3.(another weddin) I'll definatly run one of my trucks at the dyno in march. Can't wait.
Time to bump this thread to the top... take a look at my thread over in the 1st gen section for a few videos of the hood stack!

Nice one Mark, also checked out your other daytime vid. Yeah, better in real life!!! I found something over on ebay that you may or may not be interested in. Actually the guy has two aftercoolers, one off a 99' and another of a 96'. The starting bids are $300 and I think it has about 3 days left. Here are the links,

Would'nt want you to have to put any "24 Valve" parts on your truck, we know how you 12 Valve guys are so here is a 96'

time to BUMP again.....
Hey, what are your thoughts about the truck contest at the dyno? Anyone, Anyone....has anyone seen Bueller?
Where ya'll want to meet and when for our cold weather meet? Any ideas? Nashville better for most? We could always do the O'Charlies thing again at brentwood or some other eatin' place around Nashville.
