TNDTR Chapter #34 Discussion thread
well guys, i had a LONG weekend. drove to Houston to pick up a truck, on the way back my rear passenger tire/rim literally BROKE OFF!!! thankfully my brother was about to control the truck (we were ALL OVER the road) and came to a safe stop. custom disc conversion was trashed bedside was bent up but safe is the important thing. it was scraping on the hub for over 200 feet ot give you an idea of how bad it was. anyways, believe it or not i had it fixed in under 24 hours and we were back on the road! made it home late sunday night and have been trying to catch up ever since... so far unsuccessfully.

Glad you made it back! That's the worst part about long travel....the what if. I always carry a bunch of tools but wonder if I really have brought enough?
Let me know about the frame and your plans with the other truck. I'm planning a weekend run to upstate NY here soon to pick up a 66' Buick, just trying to build up the stamina for the 1600 mile journey in a weekend and then build up more stamina to deal with the circus type environment I call my job.

Wow Mark, was the trouble with the wifes 92 or yours? That's a tough trip anytime, but on the road, in a different area, it's really hard. Glad you made it safely.....good luck catching up!

Hey fellas, Anyone know where the nearest Dyno is located? Would it be the one in Smyrna we're going to in March? Someone give me the name of that company in Smyrna. I may go see them in a few weeks.
Thanks

The dyno in Smryna is called The Performance Garage. I found it on a search engine, like yellow pages I believe.
The winter meet, well.........ain't heard much about that. I threw some stuff out there and the page has been pretty dead. I've been busy as all get out though, working, working, working at home....job hunting...just busy.
Anyhow, Sooooooooooo, where ya'll want to me at? Ya'll just want to meet at a restuarant someplace around Nashville?? O'charley's, Applebees, something, something......something??? Anyone out there besides us three??
