Wastegate vs none

I need to replace my exhaust housing and see that HTT has non wastegated housing. They don't issue any warning in the decsription so what are the pros and cons of non wastegated housing?

You have about the same setup as i did when i put a 14 non gater housing one my truck. with water and 215 injectors i would see 35psi at 3000rpm other wise 30psi. it was quicker to spool and droped egts a good amount, can't rember how much thought. then i made it a hybred 2 weeks later. good set up made 306 at the wheels with it fun to drive. Also the non gated is alot cheaper.

So you didn't any problems with too much boost? I am wanting to grind my plate soon and advance my timing. I thought that my wastegate was leaking but I can make 16 -18 psi with the accuator disconnected and that seems to be about right I think. But the wastegate is stuck.

A non-wastegated housing can push the drive pressures very high. Then the headgasket goes!!
Be carefull spinning a turbo too high by not using a wastegate.

my head gasket is stock with now studs, with the 100 plate mid way alot of water and timing at 14, never had a problem, and garret has diven this truck and he diden't have problem. Would see 40psi all the time, 45 on a long pull to 3k. I put the 5k, springs, 17 timing full cut dvs htt 62 14, 50psi all day long on a stock head gasket, for how long the world may never know.

So if boost is kept to under 35 lb everything should be fine, right. Do you have try hard to keep it in that range. I don't mind if its something that I just have keep on eye at times but if it someting that is going to require full time attention I can do with out that.

i have a 5 speed 215 pump #10 plate in the middle, afc in the middle and with my stock turbo and a rusted shut wastegate i see 46 psi easily if i beat on it at all in 3rd gear + i have stopped driving it hard until i get a new turbo. to much boost for the stocker.

Basically, yes. Keep the boost down and your non wg turbo will live just fine.
