VR-6 injection pump

Does anyone know anything about the VR-6 pump?

I've heard a few little bits of info on it but nothing on the performance or if anyone is using it.

Just curious since I believe my VP-44 is taking a crap on me. :

Thanks
DB

There are some out there, but you have to REALLY look hard to find them.

I know of some who have them, but you won't hear a peep out of them about it.

I also have a good buddy about to buy one when he gets the money, I'm sure he will give a great report about it.

That's kinda what I thought. :

I just thought since my warranty is gone and this pump is coming out of my pocket I might as well get some sort of performance out of my $$$$$$$.

I know there was one thread on the TDR about the VR-6 but I didn't get much info out of it either.

Thanks for the reply Andrew.

Re:VR-6 injection pump

I'd save my cash and get a VP44. The VP will make enough HP to go as far as most of us can or need to go anyway.

Re:VR-6 injection pump

I figured it was an injection pump, but what's so special about it? That's what I want to know.

Re:VR-6 injection pump

Rumor has it... or fact as some people know... that the VR6 is mecanically capable of flowing an enourmous amounts of fuel compared to a stock VP44. I believe the only hangup was being able to controll it electronicly up to its potential. But that could be solved now... no one that really knows has said yet. But there might be a reason for that .
