TST or EZ Comp with stock clutch work?

Hey I'm the new guy here, owned diesels all my life but never "bombed em" as you guys call it.Love this forum. I can tell I'm addicted already. I'm sure you heard it before but I want to start out easy. Scotty Air,gauges and comp. Should I use EZ Comp or TST 3 I would like to keep stock clutch for awhile. Can I leave TST down on a lower level without smokin the clutch or use EZ Comp and dont hook pump up till I get the B@##'s. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. 02 CTD stock 5sp 16k

I have the PM 2 and have had no problems with my clutch slipping. I don't have the remote yet so it is not adjustable. It is only a 2 out of the box. I have 275 injectors going in as soon as they arrive. I will be adding the remote to tap into the level 3 programming as soon as I can. But for now it is working fine.

hey, i have a tuck just like yours, 02 CTD 5-speed with 4.10 gear ratio, and stock clutch has been holding good with a comp as long as you don't get stupid with it. Hauled 10000 lbs the other day on stage 5 and it never slipped. Wes

Dodgeboy, Do you have gauges? Level 5 with 10K could heat things up pretty GOOD &amp; HOT.<br> Danny

Thanks,I think I'll try the Scotty and gauges and I'll have to wait a bit on the TST 3. Is this a pretty good setup, I,m not looking for 400hp yet... but I would like to start with stuff that I can work up on later.Any more suggestions?

I also have the same truck w/ 3:55 gears. I have a Edge Comp, it seems to be stuck on 5x5 ;D , and just installed 275 injecters on Sunday. So far my stock clutch is holding fine but I have not done ant towing since adding either. I am running Autometer Z series EGT and Boost guages with a Westach 0-30psi Fuel Pressure guage on a pillar mount.
