I don't know, your right though my VP may be dieing?? Cuz I have a Holley blue fuel pump and use to come on when the key came on, but after awhile if wouldn't start, just crank and crank. So I put it on a toggle switch and start the truck with the Holley off, (with no fuel pressure) and once it starts turn the holley back on. So maybe my VP is dieing and that's why I didn't see very good numbers????

 

that sounds like too much fuel pressure causing hard starts. which is common on some trucks with holley blue running out of the fuse box.
