TST or COMP or ?

Sale is pending on my EZ. I need something else! I got bit by the bug and now I need more. I have a line on a TST PM3. I've been looking at Comps also. All of these will be used. I have a AFE stg 2 and stock exhaust right now. Do I get another box or put Stacks on. Funds won't allow me to do both and it may be awhile before I'm able to add on. Lookin for a little advice. I know I should get a smarty. But funds definitely won't allow that and I'm looking for in cab adjustability. I thought I'd throw this out and see what kind of response I get. Thanks in advance. - Max

If you are going to get a TST, you're going to need to keep the EZ or get a Smarty to do timing. You will need either an EZ, Comp or Smarty to do timing. Comp does fueling in addition to timing. TST does fueling only.

Ahh...That's good to know. I'm new and trying to learn. I'd rather ask questions then find out the hard way. Thanks. So would a Comp be the best bet?

it all depends on what you are lookin for. the comp defuels at 2700rpms, i would personally go with the DRAG comp. very very good power, doesnt defuel and the power comes in nice and smooth. if you are lookin for all out power, go with the tst. power wise, the tst and drag comp are about the same, but you cant stack to many things with the comp. you sure can stack with the TST for all out power. like i said, all depends on what you are lookin for.

Comp is good choice if you only want one box. My preference would be for the Smarty though. Then you always have the option of adding a TST down the road.

i totally agree with you. i mean, gettin the smarty is seriously the best investment you could ever make . the seat off the pants feel is absolutely amazing and its truely amazing how it helps out in low rpms. plus you wont find one person that has one or used one that will have one bad thing to say bout it.
