Truck dies

Ok when i get on the gas fairly hard when my comp box is on 3 and up. When comming to a stop sometimes the truck will die when comming to a stop. I have a 5 speed. I have no less than 15psi at wot on my gauge and 20psi when just cruzing. I have a in tank pump with a holly blue with bigger banjo bolts on my fuel filter inlet and out let and inlet to the vp i also have ran 3/8 fuel like from the pump. What could be causing my problems. Thanks skyler

Swing by your local Auto parts store and see if it is throwing any codes. When is the ast time you swapped the fuel filter?

Member Getblown5.9 had this same thing.

I can't remember what the outcome was. I'm thinking it was almost like putting out the fire or something!

Doesn't happen other the when you are getting on it hard, then stop quickly, right?

I have check for codes and it only throughs a boost code every once in awhile but thats it. It will die if i get on it hard then have to stop fairly soon and push in the clutch it will gurgle then die. It will run good as long as it is in gear it will not die. My fuel pressure gauge is tapped into the fuel filter housing and is electric. I change my fuel filter every other time i change my oil with is about 10000 miles when it gets changed. Thanks

yup, had that issue. when comp was on high with DIESEL DYNAMIC JAMMER 3's only. i swapped out for even BIGGER injectors (150's now) and i have no such issue, and im running WAY More fuel then ever before.

i was convinced back then that it was cavitaition of the injector pump, somehow getting air/vapor in the lines and vapor locking. but now that im running WAY MORE fuel and i dont have this issue any more...its gotta be something with the injectors.

Once you narrow it down to the fact that it wasn't happening before the sticks, not much else to think about.
Maybe get some smoother injectors?
