Hey all.
This is about my buddys truck. Its an 01 auto with about 120 k miles.
He has J/A, Mach 4's, FASS 95, HTT 60/16 Hybrid turbo, Hot Rod VP44, intake, 4'' exhaust.

He is going through TPS and IP like candy!
He's On his 3rd IP, (frist was stock HO, Replaced with another stock HO, now the HRVP. And just had to put in his 3rd TPS yesterday. All this has happened in the 2.5 yeas he's had the truck.

My question is.. could there be any reason for all the failure?
Or is he just really gettin bit by bad luck of the draw?

Any thought are appreciated.

VP's can be short lived, especially if he does not add any lubricating agent to the fuel. As for the APPS, has he tried Timbo's APPS yet? Much better than the OEM piece of junk, and cheaper too. I would suspect bad ground issues causing premature wear on parts. I would highly suggest a thorough inspection of all major grounds...
