Hi Guys,

Been off-line for awile, but got a new Computer now. Good thing, because I need some advice on the Trouble Code for the Throttle position sensor. The code reader states it is a Throttle postions sensor low voltage error.

Does anyone know what that is? Is the sensor going bad and needs replaced? the input voltage is low? Comments, suggestions?????

tps -AKA apps code 0122 can range from poor ground, bad conetion (at apps or ecm) a bad apps to a bad ECM. so check the easy frist, conetions to the apps it self (if you have a buddy with a 24v it don't take long to change them out) and last but not least the ECM, HOHN had the same problem last week his was the ecm as was mine about 1 year ago. but the conetions and apps are more likly to be the problem, (start there)

 

so how did you fix it i'm getting same code now and i just put a new apps on.

 

Hohn and my self had to get new ecm's, his was still under warrenty, I had to find a used one. I gave $200 , but it was hard to find. the dealer is over 1k. Test EVERY think else first.

 

I tried to do the reset process, that seems to have fixed it for now, but I have not driven it far yet. I suspect connection as you mentioned since I installed the Edge Juice about 4K miles ago. If the code comes back, I'll try that.
