use a real grinder, a dremel would take forever and a file will not touch it. these things are hard. do a search on grinding plates. i posted it up a while back. a #0 profile is about 60k back from the front flat portion of the plate. but it really doesn't matter, since the plate can be moved back and forth to get the desired fueling level.

I was told not to do it for warping reasons
My zero plate came from a good friend and my dad ground the homeground 100 in my box right now, but im not happy, too high egts and not enough blower.. it wasnt my dad that told me tho, so im sure he used a grinder... but gunracer is right, how can it warp? it is kinda thick now that i think about it..

you don't need to worry about warping it, but i would try to keep it from over heating. i just use a glass of water and grind till it gets to hot to hold then dunk it and grind again.

I used a dremel tool and it took a total of about 10 minutes. I just used a really hard stone and it seemed to go down quick. Guess if I was wrong in doing that I will find out at some point.
