stock plate fuel plate

i pulled my afc off last night to slide my plate full forward but when i got in there it was already full forward but the afc housing was not. could they have done this at the factory?but i don't guess it really matters i put it all back together and slide the housing full forward to. I have already turn star wheel before doing this and just thought i would slide every thing forward to see what kind of power i was missing and WOW i love it. truck still had stock fuel plate and breakoff screw.

Was the tamper proof screw in place? It's usually the one under the injector pump lines. If there was none ie, just a regular screw or bolt, it's a sure sign someone was in there.

Did the break off screw look like it was used, scratches, indents etc? If not then it is probably factory which is surprising.

I would say that it has been gone into and the new break-off bolt was not torqued enough to break it off.

Sounds like it probably came that way from the factory. They had it that way so they could adjust the hp to whath the truck was rated at.
