steering shaft-3rd gen guy needs 2nd gen guy's help

need a new steering shaft for my 04 truck. i was going to order from psc motorsports because theirs was 70.00 bucks cheaper than borgeson's. but on psc's site they had models years 1995-03 listed- i called. they said it was a mistake and that it only fits 1995-02 model years- they corrected their site. checked out borgeson's site. their's covers model year's 1995-03.(which means it covers 04,05 and 06 model years) called back psc, asking how their competitor's shaft covers 1995-03, but their only to 02-that the shaft has to be the same-they could not give me a response. i actually was not impressed with psc, etc. but does anybody know if the same shaft that fits the 2nd gen trucks fit the 3rd gen trucks?? i just don't understand how borgeson's shaft can fit the 1995 to 03 trucks, but psc's only fits 1995 to 02 trucks. makes no sense.
