Some tire ?'s

My stock set of LTX's on my 02 are just about worn out at 53000 milee, well too worn out to make it through when winter comes along. So i'm in the market for some different tires. right now the truck had 265's on it from the factory. i was thinking of going up to 285/75/16 or 305/70/16 in the nitto terra grappler. I don't tow a whole lot but i do a fair amount still. I was thinking of the 305's Nitto makes because they are a load range E tire.I've heard they are good tires, what do you guys think? And about how much are they? If possible i'd like to see a few pictures of 2nd Gen's with no lift or a level kit and 305's or 285's.

I run 315 nittos on my truck now and I've gotten almost 40k miles out of them. They ride nice, handle great, and are very quiet. If I rotated them more often I have no doubt that I would have gotten more life out of them.

I have 285 TOYO's.....There is still lots of room and a 305 is prolly the most you can stuff with no kit.

BTW Stock height with the 285's has my tailgate upto my nose....and I'm 6'.

My ram has a 2.5 inch lift,

But i run 285s no problem on a 16 x 8 rim, I have heard that terra grapplers are good, anything load range E is best for our rides.. Best of luck, and if ur on budget, consider wally worlds liberators, no joke

They are supposed to be a good tire. It's what I'll be going with when mine wear out. As for price I think they are in the 150 range for the 305's.

Im running 295's on my stock rims (01)...a bit taller and a bit narrower than the 305's.

FWIW- I have driven a maxipad with Nittos in thick mud, and could not get enough wheel speed to make them self clean...

The guy that owned the truck said he loved the tires apart for that.

285/75/16's with no lift or level kit....in my Gallery. They're Michelins...only D rated...but I love em. I don't tow heavy or much....but these tires handle gross Wt+ (up to 9500 lbs) very well!
