I saw a truck around town here that had a very clean install of a winch. I talked to the onwer and he said he did a three inch body lift and then the winch fits. To me it looked like you might be able to get a away with less of a body lift maybe 1in or 2in and still have it work. I wish I had a pic of the truck so you could see it. The truck was a sport model and behind the factory bumber was the winch. The fairleads were also mounted flush to just sticking out of the bumper and the front licence plate was mounted to the fairleads with the cable coming out from behind the plate and hooked on one of the tow hooks it I remeber right. I think the plate flipped down or was just clipped on, I can't remember. It was the same as the new powerwagon, looked good was simple and clean and was a diesel. I know not very many people like body lifts but this looked prety cool having the winch in behind t he bumper. Has anyone on here done this sort of a mod? Has anybody on here done a body lift on a 02?
