Silver Bullet in twins?
Anybody running a Silver Bullet in a set of twins? Silver 62 I should say? If so what are you running underneath and did you build or buy? S400, K31, HTB3? Im running a SB 66 on my 12v right now, but looking to improve on the low end a little and help my towing out some.

When using the sb 66 in twins it partnered with the fat bastard, wich is big and they are racing, sled pulling set up 700hp ++. If your towing a 62-13ss or 62- 14 over an s 400 would be a good set up. Check out source automotive, they have all the pieces to build a kit your self , or just too get i deas if you can get and make the materials yourself. Im not affiliated with them at all just one site i know for all the parts anyway you want them.

Yeah I have spoke with several different companies, Rip being one of them, I wasnt planning on using my 66, but rather a smaller top turbo, just wondering if anyone had any experience using the silver series.

I think they are more for a racing app when in twins. Cranked Dodge on here is running SB/BB twins, and thats what that truck does, go down the 1/4 very quickly.

Tate, I felt like the SB 62 might be suitable for the primary in a twin setup for towing, and that the SB 66 might be more suitable for the racing setup do you know what CRANKED is running?
Illinois, being that you are running a manual tranny, I think the SB66 would rock and roll for you. Im running an auto in my 12v, so the SB 66 is just a little laggy for my setup, which is why I am considering going with a smaller turbo with an S400 on the bottom.
You also have alot more fuel than I do right now, but I think it would be very controllable with the manual.

If you want something quick I'd look at a htbg with a stainless housing and hang the turbo of your choice under it. You've got both TRE and Poole near you- those guys build more twins than most of us will ever see: might be worth a call.
