semi wheels opinions please.

hey guy's and gal's,
i am done with my latest mod. would like some opinions please.
pics are in my gallery and here is a quick run down of the pics. i lost one of the oem lug covers a bit ago and the dealer wants too much for a new one. so i came up with this plan.
painted wheels black got chrome lug nut covers and searched for a center caps. once all parts were here went about fabbing up mounts for center caps and there you have it semi wheels on a budget. check them out in my gallery.
thanks.

well, the lug caps were easy. find a flanged 15/16 lug nut cover. the center caps were the hard part. it took almost three months to come up with a cap. it will not be a cheap venture. be prepared to spend a couple hundred bones. you will need to find some air horns that you can toss out when done. the center cap diameter is 4 1/2 inches. i made tabs that comform to the inside of the front hubs and welded them in the hubs. for the rears i made more tabs and drilled them and removed 2 of the axle bolts and put tabs there and re-installed bolts.
now, i do happen to have some extra centers i bought just incase and for R&D.
can you paste the other wheel pics to the thread for please?

Alcoa sells the center caps, lug nut covers and special nuts for the whole works for a couple hundred bucks. Lug nuts have a wider washer with a bevel on the mounting side so the cover will be held in place, but not totally squished. Lug nut covers just pop on. PITA to get off, mind you.

i looked at those too. not what i was looking for as far as the end result. and the covers i used are not a pita to remove as i sourced a pair of pliers made for them. they are the same as the big rig lug nut cover pliers but the ones i got are smaller and made for the smaller lug covers.

ph4tty,

No problem. Now all you need to do is paint the nerf bars to match
