anyone running Semi wheels?

I'm looking to put some on my crew cab dually.

Wondering if anyone else has any experience with this. I can buy an entire semi with the 24.5s on it for 500 bucks and drive it home. I know those tires are BIGGGG!!!!!, but with a little lift i can clear them. I hope....

might require some front fender trimming. for a drivable rig for $500, take it and try and make it work. if you get nowhere, you can turn around and sell those rims for $$$.

There is a company that makes hub adapters to bolt the 24.5's on. I saw the site a year or so ago and can't remember the name. On there site there is a pic of a 1st gen rig all set up.

A few weeks ago, there was a black extended-cab DRW 1st Gen. in our shop that had 22.5 Alcoas and it stood no higher than one with stock tires.

225-70-22.5 I believe.

I didn't know the guy; the truck had Oklahoma tags and looked better than brand-new.

Nice. you didn't by chance get a photo did ya?

You can get the low pro tires for the 22.5s, but these 24.5s are so cheap it's hard to say no. And I had planned on lifting it anyway.

Being probably 16-ply or so, if these tires aren't new and true, you may be in for a teeth-rattling lesson in tire compatibility.

I would have a full set of Centramatics on hand before I bolted them on.

Yea, I know they won't ride very nice, but it's a truck, not a chevro-lac.
