anyone running Semi wheels?
anyone running Semi wheels?
I'm looking to put some on my crew cab dually.
Wondering if anyone else has any experience with this. I can buy an entire semi with the 24.5s on it for 500 bucks and drive it home. I know those tires are BIGGGG!!!!!, but with a little lift i can clear them.
I hope....

might require some front fender trimming. for a drivable rig for $500, take it and try and make it work. if you get nowhere, you can turn around and sell those rims for $$$.

I think they are sweet i have 19.5's just 8 lug though but why is it that people always talk trash about other peoples idea's its not like they are tryin to put it on your truck you know just me i guess.
A few weeks ago, there was a black extended-cab DRW 1st Gen. in our shop that had 22.5 Alcoas and it stood no higher than one with stock tires.
225-70-22.5 I believe.
I didn't know the guy; the truck had Oklahoma tags and looked better than brand-new.

You can get the low pro tires for the 22.5s, but these 24.5s are so cheap it's hard to say no. And I had planned on lifting it anyway.
Being probably 16-ply or so, if these tires aren't new and true, you may be in for a teeth-rattling lesson in tire compatibility.

I would have a full set of Centramatics on hand before I bolted them on.
