SEMI truck wheels....

has anyone put a set of 19.5 22.5 or 24.5 semi wheels on their 1st gen yet? post some pics

Yeah, it looks like a remote controlled truck. Not a fan bigger than 19.5's w/ a lift.

i think it looks pretty mean but aint those things real hard on tranny/rears/brakes/everything?

Do those wheels keep spinning when the truck stops moving, also?

That's just going way too far just for looks.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit..................And yes its hard on the driveline, especially knuckles................

yea a lil much, i wouldnt mind having a set of 19.5s tho that are a normal size

I have a set of 19.5 10 lug Alcoa semi wheels on my truck. My truck is a 48 Ford F-6 COE cr hauler, but it is sitting on a 93 Dodge D350 chassis. So yes, you can put them on a 1st gen Dodge.......... I'll attach a photo of my truck. You will have to have a set of adapters as I'm sure you know.

Got 19.5's on my 93 dually. You have to clearance the center out some on the accurides to fit the back axle.

Outside of the differences in sidewall stiffness, I can't see how they'd be any harder on steering components than a set of 36" or larger tires...
