Opinions Please,aftermarket wheels

I posted a few days back on pics of alcoas, which is the only wheel I have ran in past. But what are some of your favorite aluminum wheels out there for a single wheel 02 , I haul regular and fairly heavy, so give me some of your picks. Thanks Jake.

B-dozer,
I would stay with a Forged wheel for it strenght and load carring ability. But it you do, there is only Alcoa and Weld Racing. While I think Weld wheels are good and high quality, I don't real get to turned on by there looks, they look good, just not GREAT. Alcoa has a new wheel out, it is a fancy version of the hot shoot,I thick it's called the Magnum??Anyhow it is only for SRW trucks. If you were to go cast Aluminum wheel, then Mickey Thompson has one of the best with there Classic II, or Classic Lock. Also they sell Xtreme Steel Wheels, which are strong but cheep. And come chrome or black? Good luck

Weld Stonecrushers here. 16x10.
Kinda pricey, but can handle the weight.
Only thing I don't like is the 2 piece construction, water and gunk gets trapped in them.

There are cheaper wheels that look just about the same, just make sure you get forged, cast may not handle the weight.

B-dozer,

The new wheel is on the southwestwheel.com site. They unfortunitly do not make it for your or my trucks. It is call the magnum, it is a hot shot with some extra milling, nice looking wheel. I could only find two wheels from alcoa for your truck, bummer.

Re:Opinions Please,aftermarket wheels

Well I talked to sales rep at southwestwheel,he was a heck of a nice guy and very informative,he said the new wheel is not available yet but should be possibly by the first of the year. He said its similar to the classic only with the grooves in it like the magnum dually wheel has.He didn't think they were producing the 17" classics. But if anyone has any info about the 17" I'd like to here it. By the way supernice people at southwest I'd recommed checking them out,if your interested in Alcoas. Not advertising for them just telling my experience with them. Jake
