Run in with guard rail
Run in with guard rail
My truck had a run in with a guard rail today. Broke off the steering box shaft and bent the control arms on the right side. Frame is not bent and the only thing bent on the axle housing is where the steering stabilizer shock connects. Also when the control arms bent, it also bent the metal above them on the axle housing. I hope that is all that is wrong with the housing. So in the process of fixing it back, I want to go ahead and upgrade everything under the front-end. What would be the best parts to fix it back with? I want to replace the track bar; all control arms, ball joints, steering box, and all steering components. I so not use the truck off road, so that is not an important consideration. I just want the truck to travel straight and not have any play in the steering wheel. Any help would be great.
