As a long time gasser tech. I know that most rotating pumps love to push (water, fuel etc.) But hate to suck. Some mid 80's ford trucks had two pumps (one in the tank and one on the frame rail) Most newer cars have just a fuel pump in the tank. It is no surprize to me that it will pump without a lift pump. A full tank of fuel or a downhill pointing truck would help to get the fuel line primed for good enough operation. As to how much resistance there is in the fuel lines and lift pump to hamper flow for long term use. Who knows!

So the CP3 is sucking fuel?? I guess the only answer is yes. RobertP. -- or anyone else-- the reason I only got an xzt module is I didn't want to have to be buying a new clutch , driveline components etc etc. If I had known I could have all that power on stock stuff I wish I would have got regular 100hp box maybe I should sell it and get more powerful box
