Rick has said you can find them cheap in Laredo pretty often... But you are in Missouri...

You might look for a used one, salvage yards, Ebay, new they are usually fairly expensive.

If you want something that will actually prevent der damage youre going to have to buck up (pun intended) and get a full replacement bumper or make one yourself.

Ranch Hands are still resonably cheap compared to some of the others:

www.ranchhand.com

I prefer the Bullnose model.

I just bought a SouthWest full replacement bumper. I had the store mount it for me for $40, which is well worth not having to wrestle a 200 pound bumper into position.

Total was $600 plus $40 for mounting and about $50 for taxes for a total of just under $700.

It's a pretty solid bumper. SouthWest isn't as well known or as popular as Ranchhand or Frontier, but is as good if not a better bumper. And on average $50 -$150 cheaper from the couple place I talked to around my town. When I walked into the accesories place I asked what they suggested if I wanted to drive through brick walls.

I bought one off of ebay for roughly 200$ shipping and everything included and is sturdy as hell. A buddy of mine and me took the plastic shrouding out where some guys have fog lights and welding 4 L type brackets to the frame and then drilled holes through them and then re-attached the grille guard to the front of the pickup. Sturdy as hell since it is not attached to the frame of the pickup. It was a lot cheaper than most guards and its still going to do the same thing.
