Smarty won't leave a trace, and is one of the best things you can put on your truck. That will get you around 65 rwhp. You won't get any more than that without tapping the wire, which is obviously detectable.

On the VP-44's can't you use a Bluechips pump cover to avoid tapping the wire and then take that off when needed? Don't know for sure just thinking outloud... lol

Thrillbilly19 this is off topic but i see that you are going to put 4:10's in at some point....i have some in my 97 right now and would really rather have the 3.55's unless you only drive around town and never on the freeway leave the 3.55's in you'll be way happier with the mph true the 4:10's pull like heck but the trade offs are not worth it

ok back on track sorry.

that worked for a little while, then the Stealerships got to looking for traces of them too. They are detectable, so they are worthless. IMO

DC has put together some very detailed TSBs on finding evidence of "tampering". If they look they will find...

The pump covers will leave indent marks on the traces of the circuitboard. If they feel like it it only takes them 20 seconds to pull the cover off and look.
