Q? does the airflow system downpipe exit straight back?

http://shop.airflowonline.com/Mercha...egory_Code=DCE

i was wondering if anyone here has used the Air Flow Systems downpipe and single piece exhaust tailpipe??

im thinking of buying the tailpipe and downpipe but was wondering if they are parallel with the underside of the truck??

by looking at the pics, it looks as if they would be pointing straight at eachother when mounted on the truck-

and the muffler shop could weld in the rest of the pipe to complete the exhaust system.

any advice?? i couldnt find anything by using the search function-
thanks
bryan

Re:Q? does the airflow system downpipe exit straight back?

I put one on my truck. The pipe points slightly in the direction of the drive shaft. I tried to get it to go straight back but the pipe will hit the frame rail. It exits within the transmission crossmember. The pipe you put behind it will require a bend or I guess you could get out a BFH and dent the pipe where it hits. ;D I just have a piece of pipe to clear the crossmember and a turndown on mine. Sounds pretty good. People give me dirty looks when I pull under the canopy at the bank drive thru. Seems they get me done first so the can see and hear the other people.
